I hate it When a "Great"Idea doesnt work!!!

So I was gonna make a really cool tile bracelet with clay. I rolled out my scuply and cut the tiles-then tried to push a toothpick through them to make the holes-well that messed up the tiles and some of the picks went through the back -ugggg and grrrrrr--so I took out my LaDoll Airdry-well lets just say that didn't work AT ALL :}

Any ideas? I am getting frustrated!!!
